The Red Reishi Mushroom, Ganoderma lucidum, is an ancient remedy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for millennia. Used primarily to support the immune system tonic, and as a general tonic for well-being.* dried reishi mushroom
Use the dried mushrooms to make a tea or tincture. The tea is an amber-tinted bitter tea that makes a great addition to chai or other tea. A bit of fresh ginger and honey or other sweetener simmered with the broken-up mushrooms for 30 minutes is great for supporting your healthy immune function.* dried reishi mushroom
Our organic Red Reishi “Antlers”–a specific form of Reishi that is the result of unique growing conditions–look different from most forms people are familiar with, but they are actually the same mushroom as those large “conch” or fan-shaped Reishi mushrooms. What really makes our Reishi special is that they are 100% Certified Organic and grown on our farm in Bellingham, WA. Most Reishi on the market are imported from growers which may or may not be using chemical applications on their mushrooms or are growing in contaminated environments. We believe that the best medicinal mushrooms come from clean, natural settings. Our farm is the next step from finding your own Reishi growing in the wild. We never use any chemicals in our growing practices and all of our substrate materials are Certified Organic and locally sourced.
This is one Reishi product that has a rich cultural history and at the same time is hand-grown on a small farm right here in Washington State.
Each 1-ounce package of Reishi mushrooms will make 2-3 pots of tea. Recipe included.
